The Sandlot Academy of South Jersey proudly announces and sponsors our 3rd Annual Laura Hamby Memorial Tournament.

On October 23, 2008, Laura Hamby, the founder of the Sandlot Academy of South Jersey, was unexpectedly taken away from us. Laura's love for the game of baseball was undeniably visible in everything she did; she was our number one fan. The Sandlot Academy of South Jersey continues to operate with her values and vision as the cornerstone of the business. As best stated by our own senior instructor Joe Cruz, she will always be "Our Diamond on the Diamond".

The tournament will be hosted on the weekend of October 21st - 23rd 2011, for ages 9U and 16U. Games will be played across multiple complex in close proximity of the Sandlot Academy of South Jersey in Sicklerville NJ.
